A peak of over $8 million in player spending in just one day cements this latest Pokémon mobile game as a ridiculous success- if anyone had any doubt.

The mobile game based on the wildly popular trading card game launched at the end of October and, after making over $10 million in revenue in its first four days on the market, the game blew up even more. An explosion in popularity in its second and third weeks out confirmed just how successful the game is- rivalling Pokémon Go and its take-over of the entire mobile gaming sphere at its peak. According to stats amassed by Games Industry.biz, the ridiculous success of Pokémon TCG Pocket comes mainly from a Japanese audience- who currently make up around 42% of the total player base.
